By a definition, sponsorship is a business relationship between a provider of funds, resources, or services and an individual, event, or organization which offers in return some rights and association that may be used for commercial advantage. However, it is much more than that.
Sports sponsorship creates a win-win-win situation for all. Businesses improve their profile, athletes better their performances, and spectators can watch sport at its very best.
The sponsor’s goal is to reinvest a share of its resources in the communities where it does business, improve or maintain the quality of life, and become an integral part of the community.
Sponsorship expands understanding, communication, and cooperation between the corporate and sports communities and develops a greater awareness of how sport can work for business.
Widely covered by the media and supported by various sectors in the community, bocce programs will project a progressive and positive image for the sponsor. At the same time, with the assistance of the sponsor, through a comprehensive promotional strategy, bocce events will raise the profile of bocce and sustained public interest in the sport.
Donations, sponsorship, and corporate and individual support play a vital role in the ability of the City Bocce Club to build a facility and provide the activities and services to its members and community.
The City Bocce Club is a non-profit organization that relies on donations, sponsorship, grants, training, and projects for finance to carry out its many services and activities.
The objective of the financial assistance is to assist the City Bocce Club as community-based sporting and recreation organization to develop and expand the services it will provide, thereby increasing the community's access to quality sports and recreation activities and facilities.
City Bocce Club guidelines currently allow funds to be raised under 6 categories:

bocce facility feasibility studies, |
|
|
bocce facility development, construction, or refurbishment, |
|
|
equipment purchase, |
|
|
travel to tournaments and competitions, including regional, state, national, and international level championships, |
|
|
hosting a major event, and |
|
|
ports development - such as talent identification programs, sports clinics, and special demonstrations. |
City Bocce Club welcomes any of the following four kinds of sponsorships:

bocce facility feasibility studies, |
|
|
bocce facility development, construction, or refurbishment, |
|
|
equipment purchase, |
|
|
travel to tournaments and competitions, including regional, state, national, and international level championships. |
Sponsorship benefits include one or more of the following options:

Guaranteed logo inclusion on the club’s equipment for a year or more, |

Naming rights for the team’s mascot or official venue, |

Promotion to the club’s email list, |
|

A shout out during video replays, |
|
|
Media coverage if our matches and tournaments are televised or covered in other media, |

Dedicated web page on the club’s website, |
