The City Bocce Club was formed on March 20, 2022 and registered with the secretary of State on April 6, 2022 as a nonprofit organization. It will be the base of a further rapid and successful development of this sport in City, State, and the Country. The club has amateur status because bocce is not yet a professional sport.
The club will be open to men and women and will include a section for competitive bocce and a section for recreational bocce. Special attention will be given to the development and promotion of exceptional talent. The club will also provide training for every category of members. Applying a system of contemporary methods for achieving topnotch results would allow our talented players to rise to the international sports level in a relatively short period.
The club will organize many of the competitions. This would measure the quality of the players and would provide a powerful motivation for their still more intensive athletic involvement.
The competitions will be organized on the City, regional, and state level, working up to organizing the national championships, and the international competitions. City would take only a short time to become the strongest bocce sport center in the country. As a logical result of this concept, bocce players from this area could eventually represent the country in the world’s sports scene.

The club will organize courses for trainers/instructors, referees, and staff organizers.
The advanced course levels will require the recruitment of high-quality bocce coaches.
In many countries worldwide, sports clubs are the bedrock of the sporting system. It's here that competitive and team spirit is nurtured, talent is spotted, and sporting camaraderie forged.
The City Bocce Club is trying to bring about a radical change in sporting habits by encouraging the formation of more bocce sport clubs throughout the country. The aim is to establish as many as possible clubs and help those efforts in a variety of ways.
